PARKTASTIC CHILDREN’S SUMMER ACTIVITIES

18th June - 17th September 2026

  • A series of regular children’s activities to be held in the park over the summer months.

  • Open to all children.

Nature Walk

10:30am - 12noon, Monday 10th August 2026

  • Learn about the fascinating nature in our park

  • The aim is to see and discuss 50 species in a 90 minute jaunt round the park, guided by fungi expert Dave Higginson-Tranter.

  • You’ll learn about life under logs, galls, flowers, insects, birds and other oddments.

  • Free of charge.

  • Meet at the park café at 10:30am prompt.

Litter Pick
