Flower Beds
Formal flower beds have always been a part of Fog Lane Park, as you can see from the photo on the left (circa 1962) of the flower beds near the Fog Lane entrance. The Fog Lane entrance flower beds are now maintained by the Gardening Group, who meet every Wednesday morning. As you can see from the other two photos below, the beds provide a vibrant mix of colour and foliage, creating an area of quiet contentment in which you can often see people reading, relaxing, or simply watching the sun set over the meadow and Tiger Wood.
